LaTeX mode in Emacs

Just like it happens with Gentoo lately, I accidentally installed AUCTeX, a TEX mode for Emacs. It's really handy. Instead of typing in all the backslashes and names of environments, I can bonk buncha escape-meta-alt-control-shift key combinations and get the fragments of LaTeX code inserted right into my document.

I'm sure that vim can do as good, there's a LaTeX-vim suite in Portage, I got to try that as well. It's probably going to be more steep than Emacs.
