I’ve successfully moved my sites to Dreamhost

It was pretty easy. Access to the shell is very convenient, I could avoid downloading and uploading large files via my slow DSL; I moved them directly between servers instead. Database migration was also pretty easy, shell access was helpful again.

I have received some replies from them. I offered them to send my ID card, my credit card scanned and even a photo of myself holding my ID card and CC, but nothing.

I asked them to delete all my data from their databases.

I’ll post an update to this story during the week; I’ve finally sent the fax from a post office (€0.75) and I’m hoping that they’ll approve the account.

I have just registered in DH and I’ve had the same problem. My problem is that I’ve never sent a fax (that’s so 90s…) and I don’t have a fax machine. Anyway, if I found somewhere where I can send a fax, it’d be quite expensive, since I’m in Spain.

I sent them a message asking if I can send them the rubbing via mail (scanning the printed form), but I got no answer yet.
